The PPT format is a proprietary binary file format developed by Microsoft. It is mostly associated with Microsoft office PowerPoint, a closed source slide show presentation application. In Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 onwards, the .ppt filename extension format was superseded by the .pptx format which is part of the Office Open XML specification. Documents to be saved in the .ppt format are saved as PowerPoint 97, 2003 presentations.
The 3GP file format and its associated filename extension .3gp is an audio, video, and text container developed by the 3rd generation partnership project. The target market for the 3gp file format is 3G enabled UMTS mobile phones through associated UMTS multimedia services. Though mobile devices operating on high speed networks are the intended hardware associated with playing .3gp files, many PC codec packs exist which grant compatibility for .3gp playback. The format has a basic profile in which files of this format do not reference any external media sources and support for audio, video, and text is limited to a single track.
FreeFileConvert uses tuned encoding for PPT to 3GP conversions, preserving clarity while trimming file size. Finished videos play instantly across phones, tablets, desktops, and modern browsers without extra tweaks.
Upload PPT files from desktop or tablet, queue multiple jobs, and let the converter finish autonomously. Return whenever convenient to download synchronized 3GP results on any device you rely on.
Process up to 5 files sized 1024 MB per batch without splitting queues manually. Mixed-format uploads convert together, producing consistent 3GP videos with dependable progress tracking.
The ppt format uses Microsoft's OLE 2 compound document file format. It contains a hierarchical structure of storage and streams broken down to a user stream, PowerPoint document stream, pictures stream, an optional stream, and custom XML data stream. Actual content is represented as slide containers within the document stream. The format allows the inclusion of external objects such as pictures, sounds, and movies into one presentation.
The 3gp format is standardized in the ETSI technical specification in which support for it is implied in IMS, MMS, PSS, and MBMS carrier services. The format is based upon the ISO/IEC 14496-12-MPEG-4 part 12 standard. As such, video streams in the 3gp format can be encoded in mpeg-4 part 2 or mpeg-4 part 10. Audio streams can be encoded in AMR- narrow band, AMR-wide band, AAC-LC and others.
