The PPTX file format is a proprietary XML based file format developed by Microsoft. It is mostly associated with Microsoft office PowerPoint, a closed source slide show presentation application. It is the default format that succeeded the .ppt filename extension from Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 SP1 onwards and is part of the Office Open XML specification. Documents to be saved in the .pptx format are saved as PowerPoint presentations. Because the pptx file format is part of the larger opendocument XML file format, many non-proprietary applications are able to open files saved with the .pptx filename extension.
M4V is a file format developed by Apple for the iTunes store's content and is very similar to the MP4 file extension. M4V is supported exclusively by Apple devices. Other video formats like MP4 and MOV can be converted to M4V in order to run on Apple devices. The most common difference between the M4V and MP4 formats is that M4V offers DRM-Copyright Protection which prevents the copyright of media content. To play a DRM-protected M4V file the computer needs authorization by opening the iTunes account used for buying the media file. However, if the files are not protected by DRM, the user can just rename the file extension from M4V to MP4 in order for it to be recognized by non-apple devices.
FreeFileConvert uses tuned encoding for PPTX to M4V conversions, preserving clarity while trimming file size. Finished videos play instantly across phones, tablets, desktops, and modern browsers without extra tweaks.
Upload PPTX files from desktop or tablet, queue multiple jobs, and let the converter finish autonomously. Return whenever convenient to download synchronized M4V results on any device you rely on.
Process up to 5 files sized 1024 MB per batch without splitting queues manually. Mixed-format uploads convert together, producing consistent M4V videos with dependable progress tracking.
The .pptx filename extension is a compressed ZIP archive with an xml directory structure. The format supports macros, charts, embedded media files, and images. It is specified in the open standard ISO/IEC 29500-1:2012. A free compatibility update allows older versions of Microsoft Office PowerPoint such as Office 2003 to open .pptx documents.
The M4V makes use of both the H.264 and MPEG-4 video codecs. It is similar to the MP4 file format and its structure is based on the QuickTime media file format. M4V files use M4V extension similar to how extensions are used in MP4 file formats. The audio encoding in M4V is also the same as MP4 files and features lossless encoding, scalable lossless coding, MP3, MP2, MP1, CELP, HVXC, TWINVQ, TTSI (Text to Speech Interface) and SAOL (Structured Audio Orchestra Language).
